What a wet spring we've had so far! lots and lots of lovely moisture, (for some reason I suddenly had the distant memory of David Bellamy!)
As a result, the garden is looking really bushy and green at the moment. As well as a determined effort to keep the weeds under control, the main task has been to pot up the foxglove, greater knapweed and betony seedlings using old yogurt pots.
During one of the sunny spells I managed to take a snap of this lovely little bee. I'm almost sure it's a common carder bumblebee.
